Why Method Is Different

Most commercial cleaning companies sound the same on paper. Here's what actually separates us, and what each difference fixes.

EMPLOYEES, NEVER SUBCONTRACTORS

Every person who cleans your building is a Method W-2 employee, screened, trained and on our payroll. We don't subcontract. We never have.

That's why our quality control actually works. We can hold our own people to a standard, retrain them, and move them. A subcontractor is somebody else's business, with somebody else's priorities.

What it fixes: business owners tell us their last cleaner subcontracted the work and then took no responsibility for the result.

GPS-VERIFIED ARRIVAL

Our cleaning technicians clock in and out on GPS-enabled, geofenced time tracking. They can only clock in once they have physically arrived at your building, and only clock out when the work is done.

You are not taking anyone's word for it. Including ours.

What it fixes: we hear it constantly. The last vendor didn't show up on nights they were scheduled, sometimes half the time.

A LAMINATED CHECKLIST THAT LIVES IN YOUR BUILDING

Every building gets its own laminated checklist, kept in your janitor closet. Every room, every task, in writing.

When the work changes, whether that's a task added or how often something gets done, we don't just tell the crew. We update the checklist, reprint it, laminate it, post the new one in your closet, and email you the copy.

What it fixes: the request that only ever lived in one conversation, with one person, who has since left.

WE BUILT OUR OWN SOFTWARE TO CHECK OUR OWN WORK

Most cleaning companies inspect with a clipboard, if they inspect at all. We have a Quality Assurance Manager, and we built CleanCheck Pro for her to inspect on.

Every inspection is scored room by room. Every visit gets an overall quality percentage. Every technician's results are tracked over time. Daily inspections for new cleaners, then weekly, then monthly.

What it fixes: every cleaning company says they do quality checks. This is a record, not a promise.

SAME-DAY RESPONSE

Call Paul. He answers. No call center, no ticket queue.

We return calls and emails within the hour where that's possible, and the same day always. If something is wrong, we act on it the same day. In the rare case it genuinely can't be fixed that day, you get a specific plan and a timeline, the same day.

What it fixes: the vendor who says they'll look into it, and you never hear back.

HIRING AND TRAINING, IN-HOUSE

Our Director of Human Resources runs hiring herself: application and resume review, interviews for communication and reliability, role-specific skills assessments, and background checks whenever your facility requires them.

Then full onboarding, trained to OSHA standards, covering safety, cleaning procedures and our quality standards, before anyone works in your building.

LOW TURNOVER, ON PURPOSE

We pay competitively, train continuously and promote from within. The cleaner who knows your building is worth far more than the cheapest available body.

What it fixes: the same faces, the same standards, and fewer weeks lost to a new crew learning where everything is.

FULLY LICENSED AND INSURED

Comprehensive general liability and workers' compensation, kept in good standing at all times. If someone is hurt in your building, that is on our policy, not yours.
